This cabin sits on a mountainside and enjoys privacy and a mountain view.  The new construction features locust-branch railings and many other custom details.  The floorplan is very open and sleeps 6 comfortably.

Drive up to Moose Trax and immediately notice the wraparound deck and the ample windows.

The view from the deck is long range and serene. You can even hear a brook running in the distance.
The same view in the winter with fewer leaves is even more open and dramatic.
The close-up of the front of the cabin shows the nice stone detail and large windows. The hot tub is not in the photo, but is around the cabin to the left.

The front deck is ample and even the porch lights highlight the moose theme. (The hot tub is around the distant corner to the right.)

The side deck features the hot tub and steps down to the fire pit. Even in the winter, as pictured, there are dense trees and privacy.

The cabin rustic decor shows through in every detail of the furnishings.
The dining table seats 6 or 8 and is convenient to the kitchen.
Here's another shot of the comfortable and convenient dining area. The hot tub can be seen outside through the window.
The kitchen has all new appliances including a glass cooktop oven and the small appliances (toaster, mixer, coffee maker and grinder, etc).
The main level queen bedroom has a mountain-rustic log bed. Bathroom access is just out of frame to the left.
The main level master bath features a large jacuzzi tub. The shower stall is not pictured.

The upstairs loft bedroom has queen bed, queen futon for additional sleeping, and a private bathroom.
The furniture style of the cabin reflects the name and the wooded setting of the mountains. The luxury bedding includes 600 thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets.
The vaulted ceiling carries through the cabin, and the large windows in the vault provide light and openness to the setting.
The upstairs bedroom opens over the railing into the great room. The bathroom door is shown on the right.

kitchen

Your kitchen is appointed with all new appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included).

great room

The great room features a living and dining area with table suitable for seating 6. The decor features cabin style furniture, hardwood floors, gas-log fireplace and cabin-rustic interiors. There is DirecTV satellite with HBO and other premium movies, upgraded sports programming, and local channels.  The system is complete with CD/DVD player (bring your own music or listen to one of the dozens of digital music channels provided by digital satellite). 

sleeping accommodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters.  Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens.  Towels are provided for the base number of occupancy. 

Main Floor: 1 queen master bedroom with cabin-rustic log bed and a huge private bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and shower stall. 

Upstairs: 1 queen, cabin-rustic bedroom with private bath.  The open loft style of this bedroom allows for privacy but also shares the openness and view of the great room with the upstairs area. This bedroom also has DirecTV service.
