About Serenity
The name earns itself quickly. Serenity is a cozy log cabin tucked into a quiet wooded area above Bryson City — the kind of place where the sounds of the forest replace everything you drove here to get away from. It’s not a new cabin, and it doesn’t pretend to be. What it is, is exactly as described: comfortable, private, well-equipped, and genuinely peaceful in a way that newer showpiece properties sometimes struggle to achieve.
The floor plan is simple and smart. A queen bedroom on the main floor has a memory foam mattress topper for a proper night’s sleep. The open loft above has a second queen and two twin beds — ideal for families or a group that needs flexible sleeping. The living area has a gas wood stove and a Smart TV with satellite. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, though there’s no dishwasher — worth knowing in advance.
Outside is where Serenity really delivers. A large deck along the side of the cabin faces the mountain view. Behind the cabin, a private area holds the fire pit and the hot tub — completely screened from the world, just the trees and the sky. The covered parking area has a gas grill for evening cookouts. Bring the dog — the wooded surroundings give pets plenty to explore.
