About Stargazer

Stargazer is a handcrafted post-and-beam log cabin in the Sylva area — a 1-bedroom retreat that punches well above its size. The design is the story here: exposed hand-crafted logs, overhead trusses, hardwood floors, a stone gas-log fireplace framed by giant front windows, and a large slate shower with dual shower heads that feels more spa than cabin. It’s a space that was built to be experienced, not just occupied.

The bedroom opens through double doors to the great room and features a king pillow-top bed with luxury linens and a Smart TV. The great room has leather sofa, dining for four, and the kind of natural light that changes the feel of the room by the hour as it moves through those front windows. A sleeper sofa adds capacity for a small family or a second couple. The kitchen has granite counters, upgraded cabinets, and is fully stocked for real cooking — including a gas grill outside for evenings on the deck.

That deck is the other reason people book Stargazer. A wood-burning fireplace and hot tub are your evening companions, and the name comes from what you see overhead when the fire’s going and the clouds cooperate. Jessie brought a dog and a 15-month-old and called it perfect. The Xplorie free daily activity program is included — so Tsali trails, the NOC, and brewery tours are all on the table just minutes from the cabin.

Size: Stargazer is a 1-bedroom cabin — intimate and very well-designed, but best suited for couples, a small family, or two couples comfortable sharing the sleeper sofa arrangement. Max occupancy is strictly enforced.

Pets: Stargazer is pet friendly. Pet fees apply and are handled at time of booking. Please ensure pets are supervised at all times on the property.
