About Sunset Ridge Lodge
The name is earned at the first sunset. Sunset Ridge Lodge sits at the top of its own ridge above Bryson City with wraparound views in every direction — mountain after mountain, the sky going orange and pink behind the ridgeline, and nothing between you and the horizon for miles. As one young guest put it on the way up: “It’s like a drive up to the clouds.” That’s exactly what it is.
The home was built for this view and around it. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows greet you the moment you step through the front door, with soaring ceilings and natural light pouring in from every direction. The open main level brings the gourmet kitchen, dining room, and living room together around a wood-burning fireplace. Three bedrooms on the main floor each have their own private full bath — a detail that makes this property particularly well-suited for groups of couples or multi-family stays where privacy matters. A bunk bedroom and half bath complete the lower level.
Upstairs, the entertainment loft is a destination in its own right: a huge-screen TV, dartboard, shuffleboard table, mini bar with small refrigerator, and comfortable seating that overlooks the entire home below. The two upstairs bedrooms flank the loft on either side, each with its own private bath, and the master has a garden tub and walk-in shower.
Outside, the wraparound porch is one of the finest outdoor living spaces in the Watershed portfolio: a large dining table, rocking chairs, a gas fire pit, a gas grill, and enough room to spread out, practice yoga, or simply sit and let the view do its work. The hot tub sits separately with its own 360-degree panorama. The outdoor fire pit is positioned where you can see for miles. Winter, spring, summer, fall — Sunset Ridge Lodge delivers all season long.
