About Watershed 03

Perched on a private lot within the 50-acre Watershed Resort tract, Watershed 03 delivers a long-range sunset view of Sassafras Gap from a home you won’t mistake for anything else in the mountains. This custom modern cabin was designed by the owner of Watershed himself, built with repurposed materials and environmentally-conscious methods throughout. The result is a mountain-modern retreat with chic industrial-loft elements styled with a mountain flair — floor-to-ceiling windows, a home theater, indoor and outdoor rain showers, a master jetted tub, and a dry sauna. The design details really do need to be witnessed in person.

The ground-floor king master suite is enormous: two captain’s chairs, a modern LED fireplace, a 50-inch TV, and large windows and doors that open directly to the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. Wall-to-wall drapes achieve total blackout when you want it. The adjoining master bath has a 2-person jetted tub, an open rain-shower area, and double sinks. Upstairs, the home theater flex space converts to a second king bedroom when needed — two futon-sofas fold flat and are fully made up with bed linens, down comforters, and pillows.

The great room combines living and dining with loft-industrial interiors: leather sofa, bamboo floors, and a gas-log fireplace. A wraparound covered deck with bedswing may just outcompete the inside for your time. Natalie went straight to the hot tub under the stars and said it was her favorite part. Brittany needed nothing more than the hot tub and the bedswing. That covers it.

Getting Here: Watershed 03 is located on the Watershed Resort tract just outside Bryson City. Please drive attentively on the resort access road. Exact directions will be provided after booking.

Garage: The garage is reserved for owner use and is not available to guests.

EV Charging: A 240V outlet is on-site. Contact the Watershed Cabins office in advance and we’ll set up an Emporia Level 2, 48-amp charger for your stay.

Second Bedroom Configuration: The upstairs home theater converts to a second king bedroom on request. Contact us at booking if you’d like it configured as a bedroom for your arrival.

Pets: Watershed 03 is pet friendly (dogs only). Pet fees apply and are handled at time of booking.
