About Hawks Ridge Hideaway
The name gives it away. Hawks Ridge Hideaway sits at the top of a mountain ridge with what guests consistently describe as a hawk’s-eye view of the Great Smoky Mountains — a panorama so wide and so deep that it stops you the moment you step onto the deck. Teyanna drove from Colorado and still called it breathtaking. The view at sunrise. The view at sunset. Every hour in between.
The cabin itself is an Appalachian-style log home appointed with a level of care that goes beyond the typical rental. The great room is a showpiece — two stories of vaulted space, a wall of windows framing that view, Colorado river rock gas-log fireplace, leather sofa and loveseat, hardwood floors, and log-wall interiors throughout. A Smart TV with satellite and digital music channels handles the entertainment. Sliding doors open directly to the covered front deck and the 5-person hot tub, so the transition from inside to outside to soaking in the view is effortless.
The kitchen is appointed for real cooking: all-new stainless steel appliances, an island with barstool seating, herbs and spices provided, and a gas grill on the deck. Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the living area and shares that front wall of windows — a 7-foot slate pool table, TV, and twin futon for overflow sleeping. A queen bedroom and full bath complete the upper level. On the main floor, a king bedroom with a private 2-person Jacuzzi tub gives the master suite a genuine sense of luxury. This is a cabin that brings the outside in and refuses to let you forget where you are.

What Our Guests Are Saying

Teyanna M. · Colorado · February 2024
“Couldn’t ask for a better getaway — the cabin was located on the top of the mountain. The view from the porch at sunrise to sunset was breathtaking. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures, even better. It was about 28 minutes from Harrah’s Casino and about 15 minutes from town. If a grocery store is needed, there’s an Ingles about 3 miles away. The cabin was nothing less than perfect for my fiancé and I — I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay here.”
