About Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher is one of those cabins that makes guests question why they ever book anything else. A 1-bedroom retreat in the Nantahala Gorge designed entirely for couples — the furnishings are curated, the decor is tasteful, and the quality of every detail is a step above what you’d expect at this price point. Dunia called it the cleanest place she’d ever stayed. Alexis called it absolutely amazing for their anniversary. Both of them are right.
The two-sided gas-log fireplace is the centerpiece of the experience — it opens into both the great room and the king bedroom simultaneously, so the fire is with you wherever you are inside. The bedroom also has a large Jacuzzi tub and a Smart TV, with windows framing the view outside. The great room has a leather sofa, hardwood floors, satellite TV, and a CD/DVD stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped with all-new appliances, and a gas grill is on the deck for evenings outside.
Outside, the fire pit and outdoor bed swing give you two very different ways to end the day — one more social, one more contemplative, both excellent. The hot tub handles the rest. Town is 15–20 minutes away, the NOC is close, and Dreamcatcher delivers on everything a couples’ cabin should be: private, beautiful, comfortable, and impossible to leave.

Good to Know
Getting Here: Dreamcatcher is accessed via a mountain road in the Nantahala Gorge. Please drive attentively, especially after dark or in wet conditions. Exact directions will be provided after booking.
EV Charging: A 240V range outlet is available on the exterior — bring your own charging cable. We can arrange a Level 2 EV charger with advance notice at time of booking.
Pets: Dreamcatcher is pet friendly. Pet fees apply and are handled at time of booking. Please ensure pets are supervised at all times on the property.
