About Fontana Grace
There’s a moment — usually somewhere between the hot tub and the horizon — when the mountains stop being scenery and start feeling like home. That’s the experience Fontana Grace is built around.
This brand-new four-bedroom, three-bath cabin sits high above Lake Fontana with unobstructed views of the water and the Great Smoky Mountains beyond. The interiors are clean and contemporary without sacrificing warmth: premium appliances anchor a kitchen designed for real cooking, open living areas invite everyone together, and every window is placed to remind you exactly where you are.
Outside, the property earns its keep. Multiple decks give you options — morning coffee in the sun, dinner in the shade, stargazing from the hot tub after dark. On rainy days or evenings in, head downstairs to the lower-level rec room, where a large-screen home theater with surround sound and a foosball table make for the perfect retreat. When you’re ready to explore, a private neighborhood trail leads through hardwood forest to a waterfall roughly three-quarters of a mile in. Prefer the water? A private boat dock with a sun deck and kayak access is available to guests just a half mile from the cabin.
Fontana Grace sits at a remarkable crossroads of adventure: two miles from the Appalachian Trail, minutes from the Nantahala River and NOC, and close to some of the most rewarding mountain biking and waterfall hikes in the Southeast.
Four bedrooms. Three baths. A new hot tub, a private trail, lake access, and views that don’t quit. This is what it means to do the mountains right.

What Our Guests Are Saying

Kerri — Cary, NC · May 2026
“We loved our stay. The area was perfect to get away and enjoy nature. We were able to do some fantastic outings that resulted in hikes in the road to no where along with leg exercise on the railway tours. I’m ready to come back!”

Christopher — Summerville, SC · April 2026 · Group trip
“We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% come back again. The home was incredibly clean and fully stocked with everything we needed, which made settling in so easy. There was more than enough space for all 6 of us to spread out comfortably without ever feeling cramped. One of our favorite parts was the location — very secluded and peaceful, perfect if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy some quiet time. The drive up the mountain was a little daunting at first, but after a couple trips, we got used to it and it became part of the adventure. Another huge plus is how close it is to NOC — literally right on the back side of the mountain. There are days worth of activities there like white water rafting, zip lining, and kayaking. It’s also a great central spot for exploring nearby areas like Bryson City, Nantahala National Forest, and even taking a day trip out to the Smoky Mountains.”

Sara — Chickamauga, GA · March 2026 · Stayed with kids
“This house was absolutely beautiful! Amazing views and very peaceful! Highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future!”

Tina — Nelson, MN · March 2026 · Stayed with kids
“Absolutely beautiful very private cabin. Loved all the private trails and waterfront available to us. Spent many hours hiking around the cabin and the mountain. The house is very well cared for and easy to make yourself at home. Lots of things to do and places to relax and unwind. The host was wonderful about getting back and communicating. We were blessed to be able to add an extra day and the process went smoothly. Definitely would LOVE to come again!”
