About Creeksong
Some places have a view. Creeksong has a voice — the constant, unhurried song of a pristine mountain creek running just steps from the back porch. It’s the first thing you hear when you arrive and the last thing you’ll want to leave behind.
Tucked into the Nantahala River gorge at the foot of Cheoah Bald and surrounded by national forest on all sides, this two-bedroom, two-bath cabin is among the most singularly beautiful properties in all of Western North Carolina. The setting alone would be enough — but Creeksong delivers equally indoors, with all-wood tongue-and-groove interiors, soaring vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, granite countertops, exceptional tilework, and a stacked-stone gas fireplace that anchors the living room with warmth and character.
Step outside and the property reveals its full personality. A flagstone patio sits right on the creek bank, complete with lounge chairs, a hammock, a fire pit ringed by rock benches, a gazebo for alfresco meals, and a covered rock-and-tile grill patio. The hot tub overlooks the water. At night, a switch floods the entire creek in light — cascading whitewater, moss-covered boulders, and a canopy of mountain laurel and rhododendron, all illuminated just for you.
Creeksong has quietly earned a reputation as one of the most romantic properties in the Smokies. Over the years it has hosted four weddings, a dozen or more engagements, and countless anniversaries and milestone celebrations. If you’re looking for a place where a memory gets made, this is it.

What Our Guests Are Saying

Natalia G. — Durham, NC · March 2026
“The photos do not do the cabin justice. Our jaws dropped when we walked in and saw the large windows facing the beautiful creek and heard the water. The cabin itself is warm and inviting and very spacious — very thoughtfully built and decorated. Even more incredible was the large property landscaped all around the cabin with a hammock and multiple seating places along the creek. The kids spent hours throwing pebbles and splashing in the creek. We lounged outside to read and paint. Enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit. And the outdoor lights are incredible — they light up the creek and paths so you can enjoy them at night as well. We went on a hike in Joyce Kilmer, but otherwise didn’t see much of a reason to leave the property! Will definitely be back.”

Joshua A. — Mobile, AL · November 2025
“Extremely beautiful home, cabin, and property. Everything was absolutely perfect. Great location to everything we wanted to achieve, yet a peaceful retreat away from it all if wanted. A lot of time and effort has been taken to make this place a wonderful location for everyone. Will absolutely return here again.”

Sam M. — New York, NY · October 2025
“Loved it. It was the perfect serene escape for us coming from NYC. The character of the cabin inside and out was unmatched. You felt remote enough that you could relax completely but not too remote that you feel isolated — that’s exactly what we wanted. The hot tub was dreamy, the sound of the creek was therapeutic, and the modern amenities made the trip perfect. The management company as well as the owner was extremely attentive and came out to fix an issue with outdoor lights quickly. Would love to come back!”
